I have 5 credit cards all in all. After all those years of hard work, it has already paid off. I have wanted to own one but due to my parent’s dues, it was really hard for me to get one. It seems that the banks are really strict about you being clean with money. I have not been accepted because of my parents. It seems that I was on their watch list too.

But it paid off when I paid all their debts and started to rebuild our name again. After a few years, I got my very first credit card from Sterling Bank & Trust Secured Card. though it is not well known; it beats form not getting one.

What I like about this credit card is that they have the best customer support from all of my other credit cards. This bank beats everyone hands down. Every time I have called or e-mailed, the person who answers or responds has always been professional, helpful, and courteous. This is what I like about a bank. Others have very strict hours and sometimes their customer support do not even know what you are talking about.

One Of My Top Three

Out of my several secured credit cards, Sterling Bank & Trust Secured Card is my top three. I can say that without a doubt based from my experience. I have been using it for years now and I have no problem with it even though others say they have.

Two of the reasons why I like this credit card is that they have no ridiculous monthly “participation fees” like some cards and you can earn interest on your security deposit of $375 or more. If you have the silver card, you can get a credit limit of 120%. For example, if you deposited $200, your credit line is $240.

If you have any questions you can call them at their available time. They have reasonable hours when an operator is available to talk to you, unlike others that maintain strict “bankers hours”. Though their interest rate is not the best in the world, 19.9% for both silver and gold card members, but at least it is not in orbit like other secured cards I have seen. Their “gold” card offers not much more, a 133% credit limit over your security deposit, and an annual fee of $60.
